Starla Bocanegra is an accomplished operations executive with over 15 years of experience in the Dallas area and a strong background in both behavioral health and dental practice management. Originally from Kansas, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a Minor in American Ethnic Relations from Kansas State University.
Starla began her career serving children in the foster care system in the Austin area before spending eight years with Pawnee Mental Health in Kansas, where she became the Executive Director of Alcohol and Drug Treatment and Regional Prevention Center.
In 2010, she returned to Texas and transitioned into the dental industry, taking on leadership roles such as Trainer and Regional Manager for several large Dental Support Organizations. She later advanced into the private sector, serving as Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. Her expertise in business operations, leadership development, and organizational strategy has supported her work as a consultant, trainer, and speaker across the country for more than 20 years. Starla has also provided consulting services for renowned organizations such as Spear Education and currently for Productive Dentist Academy.
A lifelong Kansas State supporter and avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, Starla enjoys spending time with her two adult children, attending sporting events, and watching movies.
